Thanks so much for sharing your PICKEN/PACE connection. I have visited and bookmarked your web site. Also am adding you to our PICKENS PIPELINE page and to the PICKENS2 database. It consists of those PICKEN/PICKENS families that are not desc. from Robert and Esther - or at least the connection is unknown.

My husband's MCLEAN family was from Winnipeg and Ontario before coming to the US. We had a trip up there about 10 years ago in the fall. Ottawa is the cleanest city I have ever seen, and the trees out in Plantagenet were beautiful with their changing colors....[Yes! I grew up in Ottawa, teachers would teach us kids to iron the multi-coloured maple leaves with wax and put into scrap books...also, I would sip maple juice from buckets hanging from tree trunks, on my way to school, it was sweet and people would collect it to make maple syrup....GordP ]

Mary Ann married Thomas BIRCHALL.
Thomas was born 21 Sept 1857, New Springs, Adlington, Lancashire, ENG.
After her husbands death, Mary Ann PICKEN-BIRCHALL moved to Niles, OHIO USA in 1920.
Records seem to indicate that Mary Ann's siblings were Catherine and Robert PICKEN.
Catherine PICKEN married Josiah CARTWRIGHT on 7 Sept 1863, St. Gregory Church, Wigan, Lancashire.

Forgot to mention in my last email that my great grandfather in the Birchall
lineage was named Levi Birchall and was the father of Frederick Birchall
I will delve more into this as there may be a connection with the Tod Davis lineage.
