i have copied listing of igi for birmingham for children of joseph and mary, after you confirmed that emma was a daughter of joseph and mary. i believe that we are dealing with 2 joseph and marys given the time span of 1816- 1847. if we take that perhaps the ealier mary ann 23 mar 1829 could be mary=joseph squire. then the later mary ann 1844 would bear this out. so perhaps some of the later births are perhaps to a son of joseph and mary pace.

onto the other possible LANE connection we have found. thus
