The 1861 census for Willenhall has
THOMAS PACE, age 56, key stamper
born Lanney Green
wife ELIZABETH age 51 born Bilston
daughter MARY age 25, born Bilston
son ALFRED age 10, born Willenhall. The IGI reveals a baptism on 15 January, 1832 at Bilston of ENOCH son of THOMAS & ELIZABETH PACE.
Yet another interesting entry is in the 1851 census for Willenhall. Included in the household of a James NEWMAN at 39 Stafford Street as a lodger is Edward PACE, age 28, born Lony Green. I wonder if this is the illegitimate son of Elizabeth PACE. (the family of Humphrey PARKER and Ann nee PACE were living at 37 Stafford Street).
Also in Humphrey's household was
CHARLES PACE, age 50, lodger, born Sardon and SARAH PACE, 17, servant born Willenhall.I think SARAH was CHARLES' daughter.
The 1841 Willenhall census had Charles age 36 with children Hannah, age 11; George, age 9; and Sarah, age 7.

You are quite right we are definitely cousins of some sort. My THOMAS PACE is the one you have mentioned and all the links you and your web site have provided have been duly entered onto my tree. I am using Broderbund's Family Tree Maker too, by the way.THOMAS PACE who from the 1881 census was living with his son RICHARD (aged 41) and his wife ELIZA and their children MARY J (aged 7) and STEPHEN(aged 13). THOMAS also had my great great grandad ENOCH born circa 1833.
ENOCH married HANNAH (born circa 1835)
They had 9 children:

Hello. My name is LPace and I have just come across your Pace website. Very interesting. My dadīs name was TEPace. He was a locksmith in Willenhall and Walsall Staffs. He married LT from Smallbrook, Birmingham. He was born in 1895 the youngest of six; five sisters. Annie, Ada, Clara, Winifred and Lavinia. and all of them (except Lavinia went to live in USA and Canada, Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie. Many of their descendants still live there. I and my brother *** are the surviving children in the UK with other family members (I live in Finland) If anyone would like to get in touch with me Iīd be happy to contact! Thanks very much for such an interesting site I will be delving deeper as time goes by. - atb LPace.
